ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

 

Position Summary:

Supporting Producer in working with clients, including handling correspondence, obtaining necessary information and doing other work as per Producer’s scope of responsibility

 

Essential Functions:

Support and oversight and/or preparation of proposals, spreadsheets, presentation, policy delivery, etc.

 

Ensure that marketing guidelines and procedures have been followed, renewal meetings with the Team and/or clients have been set up, client proposals have been thoroughly prepared and the Producers are equipped and primed for all interactions with the clients, and other necessary tasks for successful maintenance and renewal of accounts

 

Attend client and prospect meetings with the established producers for all phases of the Sales Cycle (cold call, warm lead, initial meeting, policy gathering, proposal presentation, mid-year review, renewal meeting

 

Be responsible for the communication flow of the account including, but not limited to, client meeting notes, completion of the application, managing the underwriting process, advocating for clients’ claims and losses

 

Be responsible for Producers overall book of business to support information gathering along with proper marketing new placement and/or renewal

 

Follow company workflow procedures regarding the documentation and maintenance of account information in EPIC system and be familiar with and follow Agency E&O guidelines

 

Report any omissions or potential exposure regarding coverage on policies generated by Plastridge to Team Leader

 

Represent the company and the client to ensure that clients’ insurance needs are met and the integrity of the company are maintained.  Be honest, trustworthy and maintain a good business reputation.  Act in good faith, ensure legal compliance of insurance laws and regulations

 

Experience/Skills:

Active 2-20 License

5+ years Large Commercial Lines experience

EPIC experience a plus

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT - COMMERCIAL LINES DIVISION

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – COMMERCIAL LINES DIVISION

 

Job Description:

Provides technical assistance to the Commercial Lines department performing data entry and data management duties including policy/endorsement checking and requesting/ following up on change requests.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Work with Account Manager(s) or Team Leaders to assist in the issuance, renewal, change/update, endorsement and/or modification of policies on assigned accounts
  • Perform data entry work not limited to applications, spreadsheets, insurance legal documents, mailing labels, form letters and other related documents
  • Manage and distribute insurance legal documents including, evidences of insurance, certificates of insurance and automobile ID cards to clients
  • Manage assigned documentation from paper to electronic form including bar coding and scanning
  • Provide technical assistance to Producers, New Business Marketing Managers or Commercial Account Managers as required
  • Maintain company procedures in documentation and maintenance of client information in EPIC database
  • Assist in the underwriting process including ordering and researching reports and records as required for placement of new and/or renewal business
  • Generate rates by manual or software/website calculations
  • Verify payments with carriers and document accordingly
  • Assist Producers or Account Managers in preparation for client meetings
  • Prepare policy books or policies for delivery or mailing
  • Be familiar with and follow Agency E&O guidelines
  • Report any omissions regarding coverage on policies to Branch Managers
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
  • Commercial Lines experience a plus
  • EPIC experience a plus
  • 4-40 or 2-20 P&C FL license required

LARGE COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER

LARGE COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Job Description:

Develop and maintain client relationships during the management and renewal process of assigned insurance accounts to ensure excellent customer service and account retention

 

Essential Functions:

  • Active control and management of all service aspects of an account to ensure that all necessary coverages have been offered, placed, or renewed in a timely manner in accordance with PIA renewal practices.
  • Direct pro-active communication with clients
  • Direct interaction with Sales Executives on any and all assigned accounts for renewal, rounding or cross-selling
  • Direct interaction with Sales Agents, Marketing Managers and Technical Assistants on the renewal, rounding and cross-selling of accounts
  • Provide direction and oversight to Technical Assistants working on behalf of assigned clients
  • Cross-sell and/or refer, to the appropriate departments, prospects and clients for the sale of additional lines of insurance and rounding of accounts
  • Coordinate change requests and modify policies as appropriate or as requested
  • Manage the underwriting process to include the marketing, rating, preparation of proposals and applications, forms and required documents to ensure the successful sale and/ or renewal of accounts or additional lines of coverage
  • Record, report and service assigned clients’ claims and losses, or refer clients to Claims department
  • Request and research reports and information relevant to the placing of new and/ or renewal business. Regularly review exception and aged receivable reports, check for accuracy and correct if needed.
  • Follow company procedures regarding the documentation and maintenance of account information in EPIC system
  • Be familiar with and follow Agency E&O guidelines

  • Maintain and exercise the highest level of confidentiality regarding the business of internal and external customers and company information

Education/Experience:

  • Re-market group medical/ancillary plan in current book of business as needed
  • Conduct on-site open enrollment meetings for renewals each year and communicate benefit details to the organizations employees
  • Follow company procedures regarding the documentation and maintenance of account information in EPIC system
  • Be familiar with and follow Agency E&O guidelines
  • Report any omissions regarding coverage on policies to the Branch Manager
